Please can anyone help me, ive recently connected to computers together through NIC's and a hub (all netgear) the one pc is connected to a cable modem through a 2nd NIC, but when i have internet connection shareing enabled no one can join my dedicated server games, the winipcfg settings shows that the network card connected to the hub changes to ICSHARE Adapter. and gives an ip of 192.168. * * and the same on the other computer is there another way to connect them both and enable internet shareing and still allow friends to join my games ?

thnx in adv.

If the PC with the 2 nics is the dedicated server then you dont need ICS running. The other rig can join via the local IP address.

I don't use ICS anymore, BUT when I did I could have both on a remote or local server.

the pc with the single nic is the dedicated server (and also a laptop) so i cant add a second nic to it :( , and so i need the ICS running.

but thnx for the reply anyway:)

There's no way someone from the internet can join a game on a non-routable IP address that is within your local intranet (LAN). You either need to setup a NAT/Router or run the dedicated server off the computer that is connecting straight to the internet.
