I'm considering the Nexland ISB Pro 800 with Dual WANS.
My Web/Mail server will be using private IP behind NAT with appropriate ports open. This with the 2 public IPs from each DSL connection I have.
My question is regarding the redundancy I'm seeking and how to acheive it through DNS.
Using different MX preferences I can ensure mail arrives at my server in the event one of my DSL connections goes down.
I'm not sure how to do this for my WEB however.
I can have my DNS entry for my site point to both my IP's but I think this will only load-balance both IP's.
Example: If a user gets handed the first IP address of my site from the DNS server and this connection happens to be down how can I redirect him to the second IP.
Thanks
