usb 3com adsl modem

I will be getting adsl shortly and my telco is trying to sell me a 3com usb modem with it (discontinued by 3com now i believe) if anyone has an experience with this modem and has any views on it they would be appricated.

I would try to stay away from USB. There are many problems associated with USB and broadband.
