i know they are the same

Manky people has been asking whether to upgrade or not, many of them has been buying the Home Edition without really knowing what are the difference and adventage. Evryone knows that XP PRO is way to expensive and the hoem edtion wigh is a bit easier to get IT SUCKS.

XP Home Edition is just a DEMO of the FULL VERSION OF THE REAL XP CODE; it is just liek downloading demo of a game from the internet but in a way more expensive. XP PRO has everything and XP home has less than half of the REAL XP capanilities, so people is paying money that shouldnt be payed for that BS ( HOME EDITION ) and XP PRO is too expensive so what should people do?? the anwser would be that companies should start presenting thier coeds or OS and stop giveng all the money to MICROSOFT , for example it is just like when our pcs get messed up we or at least me used to sent the pcs to some store to fix them untill i said or many of you said why to pay for something i can do or i can get for free

There are a lot of OS thatt are used for some people an are even more stable than MICROSOFT OS and the better thing is that they are free; the thin gis that people is afraid on compatibility with their favorites applications and many of you understand that so thats wh ycompanies should be start working is creating compatibilities application for OS like LINUX in all its versions.

Furthermore persons over there are gettin rich . Or do you really think that the "king of OSES" came with the idea of DOS that person bough dos from a guy i dont remeber the name of that guy ; thanks to that guy he is what it is today

Thats why i ahev never bouhg a OS and i ll NEVER DO it eventhough i am running WIN2k ( a craked version )

well think about it : )

thats my opinion and everyone has a differente point of view i respect other opinion so i hope the peopl respect mine

LOL, marbles aren't sharp BlueJetta.....:D

what are you blabbering about dude? XP Home is a good product, XP Pro is a good product.....Home and Pro have the same exact kernel, which is what counts anyway. The differences between Home/Pro is just extra features....most of which, are really not needed for the normal user, including myself. I just disable or uninstall the stuff I dont need.

look at microsofts website, for the comparision between home and pro, as well as other websites.

Linux is good too..I plan on using that pretty soon again.

But i think I get what your saying....MS is too much of a high prices company....Linux is better and free, but only a fraction of Windows users even know what Linux is.....and you want more people to use Linux or other free or non-Windows OS'es...

Hi.

I understand whatchur saying.
The best solution (in my opinion), is simply download (through some file sharing app) both O/S's yourself, and see for yourself which one is better for you.

Based on what ive heard, WIn XP corp pro is the best thing out today. I think XP home is for non advanced users of computers and XP corp pro is for people that know how to use computers to do what they want (advanced users). I think they both have the same kernels (shells), but XP corp pro has way more features than Home.

bye.

If you are running a "craked" version, does that mean you are a pirate? Because if you are, I'd like to beat you to death with your own peg leg, snap your eye patch, R*pe your parrot and steal your gold. TIA

Like his grammar, his knowledge of the OS's doesn't appear to be much. Same OS between the two dude...just Pro has a small handful of extra features...most of which nobody can utilize at home, they are designed for corporate networks.

Pro has, over Home:
Multiprocessor support (good for gamers)
Mobile and Remote Desktop features (not too helpful at home)
Support for offline folders, like Win2K Pro had (useful for people who have a LAN at the office and take their laptop home)
More Administrative features (roaming profiles, group policy support, again, only for a network at the office with a server)
Better Encryption support (not important for home users)

for the " HAKCER OF ALL THE TIMES "

if people use a cracked version of any OS that doesnt mean that the person is the most famous HACKER or PIRATE ON THE EARTH " LIKE YOU ARE " so mejor mamate un chorizo maicon de mierda

and about the OS thing what i meant is that they charge too much money for nothing and that for extra bucks you can get a fully version eventhough you dont use them
