View Full Version : Additional IP's
What do you get for the $5-10 per additional IP?
Do all the IP's share 1 modem & split the bandwith between them?
Sorry for the stupid noobie ?'s, but I looked around the site and could'nt find any answers to these ?'s.

Yeah, the initial cost for a router may be around $100, but it pays for itself eventually, especially if you have more than two machines...
they are used for routing purposed, if you have a web server, ftp server, telnet server or use any type of server behind your hub/router, then you map a public ip to it , that way when someone types in the appropriate IP address it goes to a specified machine.
