After a bad backup and restore eXPerience...I cannot access the net through my ntl 512 broadband:(
What exactly I did was a system state restore using the backup utility in the system tools of win XP. the windows\system32 files were overwritten probably...but after that action I cannot use any apllication with TCP/IP.
At the time I can connect through another partition of XP so its not an ISP problem!
I tried replace winsock.dll, wsock32.dll and some registry values of them but without luck
I reinstalled windows...no luck !!!
When the Audiogalaxy is starting up it is coming with an error that cannot create new socket !!!!
Finally I tried to reset the TCP/IP settings of XP with the netsh command but still no result.
So...are these socket files corrupted????
Can I uninstall and reinstall TCP/IP in WIN XP???
I really will appreciate any help guys
It is really important for my final project to access the net again...
