D link dl-704 cable/dsl router

ALright i just got my brand new D link dl-704 cable/dsl router and im not sure some of the values i need to set.
I have:

1) router
2) ethernet cables
3) two computers
4) ComCast @Home cable

as far as i know all i need is to set the router to dhcp enabled.
do i need to set the host name ???
and do i also need to set the computers to anything other than obtain an ip address automatically???

Yeah if @home is still in service after tomorrow....you need the host name to log on.

DHCP fine on both sides.
