Whats the Dealeo with halo ported for PC

ok so i first heard that halo was gonna be for pc and Xbox..then just for Xbox.....now i hear both again...but im not sein it..not even betas......so basicaly does anyone know for sure??

I believe Bungie has already officially stated that Halo will make it to the PC. And why not? Its not like they'd have to do too much extra work to do that, and it would sell like mad.

Two years ago I started drooling over this game for the PC....then when Microsoft bought Bungie software....shortly after they said "XBox first"....that sucked....having some kids console get it before the PC.

Hopefully they will bring it back to it's original PC glory....after having striped soo much for the XBox. The game looked knockout in it's PC form. They turned it arcade-ish looking for the XBox. But by the time it actually comes out on the PC...twil be so outdated...kinda like the original Unreal, and Daikatana were.

We'll be running on 5 GHz CPUs and GeForce 6 video cards by the time it's out.

It's probably finished and they're sitting on it, MS just paid them to keep it X-Box exclusive for a certain number of months.

Hmm I tend to dissagree. As I expect to see halo on the PC by early-mid 2002. I say this because for one Bungie has anounced that Halo WILL come out on the PC and MAC.

Second is Steve Jobs told everyone at the first release of MAC Halo that it Will be out on a MAC by early 2002. So if it's been announced by that high a person with a live demo showing it being rendered on a Mac I say that's pretty good odds it's coming out on the PC, more on that next.

Halo is currently out on the XBOX and I think it kicks. Now remember all that bashing on how the XBOX is just a PC? How hard would it be for developers take a game that's almost PC ready and make it PC ready.

Sure it's harder then changing "Run=XBOX to Run=PC" (I don't know code too well just some VB and TP) but not that hard I think. I'll be out soon I think but either way it's sure to be kickass... Even if it's on a GF6;)
