I have my quake 3 server set up for 4 clients on my cable modem connection. I want to change the config to allow for 4 clients & 1 client who requires a password (me). The trouble is I can never get on my own server. How do I set it up so I can join the 5th spot as a private client. I put in the commands that I thought would do this(sv_maxclients 5, sv_privateclients 1, etc.), but when I try to join, I get the "server is full" message, it never asks for a password, so I can never occupy the 5th slot.
Am I trying to do something that is not possible?:(
