hi all i have been desperately been trying to get my smoothwall up and running for the last week! i spent hours at a time with no luck..i was wondering if anyone here was running one and would be kind enough to help as the ppl at the smoothwall irc channel where no help :( , my problem is i cannot connect to the smoothwall from my computer! i type in the 192.168.1.1:455 or 192.168.1.1:81 and nothing comes up! no matter what i do change it from green+red to green just to see if i could connect to the box and nothing :( i haver even tried 2 differnt computers as the smoothwall!can anyone please help me with this? any help is GREATLY appreciated as i have lost all hope (i have tried 6 different brands of nic cards)..

welp i got it to finally let me connect to it through the web browser! but now i have run into another problem..it wont connect to the internet! i am on cox@home and it wont connect and i cannot get on the internet through it..does anyone know how to configure it to work on @home? thanks in advance
You seem to have hit a brick wall here and elsewhere ;) trying to get this up Touser.

WOOHOO! ITS ALIVE! hehe wow i finally got it working! i am on it now and it made my day! thank you Croc for those links they where very helpful..woohoo!
