Hello guys,
Newbie here worried about security, but thirsty for security knowledge, most of you know a lot I can learn from.
I just installed Windows XP over Win SE in my computer and everything seems good so far, except there is some communication going on in the background which I don't like.
From the moment the Windows XP desktop comes up on my screen, ZA informes me there are 3 things trying to connect in the background.
1. Generic Host Process for Win32 Services, not share hand.
2. Process 644 Listening to port(s): TCP: 5000 (this last one has a hand underneath its icon as when you share a hard drive.
3. Another which is process 632, just like that, not share hand.
Are these some kind of spyware in Win XP, or maybe a trojan, any security risks?
Does anyone know what these are and how and if they can be turned off in Windows XP?
These never happened when I only had Window SE. If I tell ZA not to let them start, I cannot have access to the Internet...
Any help out there?
Thanks in advance
