what is the best game settings for @home in win2k?

alot of the things i see around here are for good downloads and high latency. in games... wouldn't i want low latency? What would be the best settings for a gamer?

if ur ping sucks then call ur ISP and have them test teh signal and see if ur low or high but no tweaks really help it. the dl tweaks dont give u a high latency either.

also if u are on a non docsis network check and see if ur ISP has a docsis network and get on it if u want better pings. docsis is much better, and if u rent ur modem from ur ISP then its no charge even lol or maybe a service call charge. oh ya this option is if u have cable not dsl i dotn think docsis is for both but it might be.
