Using ICS to get to internet
Firewall: Black Ice. No ports open.
After tweaking, I went from (for example) 13X faster than a 56K to 43X faster. There was 5 differnt tests I ran. All gave much better results. Even my Rwin Limits went from 143K to the 8222K you see above.
The only thing I am really having a problem with is a game series called Rainbow 6 (I own all the additions and variations on this game). I hadn't played in a while, but Ghost Recon just came out in a demo and that's what is starting me on this crusade. All other games play fine (Quake3, HL and different mods, Diablo 2, etc) but this one really lags. Sure it could be the coding, but there are plenty of other folks that play the game fine. So why would I have such issues as I am having with it.
