Is this trick applicable on W2K and XP puters please ?

If you're talking about assigning RAM to your NIC's IRQ, then yes. It does apply for Windows 2000/XP
NIC Buffer tweaks are tweaks for your registry. And only applies to Windows 2000/XP.

Hey Evil... where would I find that RAM Win2K tweak to the NIC? Is it this link?

Set it to 7168 instead of 4192 :)

I'm back. Can't really see a big change. I'll keep it and try it again in the early morn.
can people have both SYSTEM.INI tweak AND NIC BUFFER( the one in cablenut that lobo gave up).:rolleyes:
