Is ICS worth the trouble?

Is Internet connection sharing any good? I am using a cable modem and have a network card installed in my system already. SO, in order to use ICS with another machine, do I need to install another network card in the host machine so I can hook other systems into it? This sounds like it might cause more problems than it would solve.. I may just fork out the money to get a router or a hub. :cry:

Get a router. It'll make your life much less complicated and offer some 'built'in' security to boot.

I agree with BlueJetta. I have a Netgear router and it works great. Also with a router you don't have to leave your main pc on like you would if you were using ICS.
