I need to know how to get 4 modems to call the other machine and all of them get the same IP. I need to do load balance with the 4 line in both direction :rotfl:

I think there is a way. If I use EQL in LINUX. I am trying on it. Why do you think it is not posible?

The only method you could implement to have multiple modem connections to one line or router is to deploy shotgun technology. Even so, shotgun will only add available bandwidth, not throughput, so that your network can share your Internet connection evenly as needed.

What is the purpose for? Will this be for a gateway device? If so, there are devices like Ramp Networks "WebRamp", which can use both "multilink" and "colt" protocols. Web interface device similar to something like the Linksys router, except different models can have internal modems, and/or serial ports for external modems.

Honestly never seen load balancing really do well though on modems...

All get the same ip?Good luck on that.To use them "effectively" you will have to give us some info on what app\program, whats the mission,what are you doing with the 4 modems?
