Setting Up a router with XP

[ColdFusion]

Im going over to a friends of mine, to format, and install winXP. The problem is that he has a linksys cable / dsl router.. and a network behind that.

Now, Does winXP automatically pick up the settings, or do i have to change somethings around ?

Because really, i have never setup a router before, so im a bit confused. IS this going to be a hard procedure ? Or should it be preety simple ?

never set one up either but it should be simple, get teh XP drivers for it just in case

Post this in the Networking forum. Or PM YeOldeStoneCat. He's awesome for setting up the Linky. Not sure if he knows XP, but routers are pretty easy to setup if you know anything about networking.

actually I have the linksys at home..
setting it up should be easy as pie, and I don't think O/S will make a diff..
