Mucho Problems with XP

1) When I scroll down with the mouse wheels its like wavy and slow.

2)Video controller (Vga compatible) Has a yellow "!" in device manager. When I try to install my video card drivers it says "This is not meant for this system" (Viper II)

3)Everyone in my house has there own login on XP. If I install software such as Microsoft Office, will it show up in all of our start menu programs? (I want it to) Plz help :(

Burner wont work either, hmm maybe I should of stuck with 98

What burner software are you using? I havn't installed XP yet, but you probably need an ASPI layer. I don't think it comes with XP.

Look for forceASPI. It worked for Merc, anyway.

Not sure about your mouse problem. Sounds like a software conflict maybe? Anyway I hope the aspi layer is your solution for your burner.

your MS Office will show up for all users, unless you dont want it to.

Try messing with the mouse properties in control panel, make sure you got latest drivers

Bah Uninstalled XP


HP said they wouldnt have drivers for another month. And no one is currently making new drivers for my card (WEnt outta business) back on 98se now:cry:
