View Full Version : MS Outlook (not Outlook Express)
My ex-wife need to know how to insert a picture in an email using Outlook, but I use Outlook Express, which is different. Any help?
Thanks,
ghost
BTW, not "attach" a pic, but rather INSERT one into the body of the email messge.
To attach a file in an Outlook message, choose Insert->Item from the message menu. That opens the the Insert Item Dialog box. Select the item to be attached to the message and then choose Text Only or Attachment or Shortcut from the Insert As option group. Ok to finish.
Ghost, that is from my Office 2000 Complete manual. Hope it works.
Croc.
Thanks guys, I called her and we walked through the options and the Shortcut option that Croc mentioned is grayed out and can't be selected, only the other two are available. WTF?
She's using Outlook 2000.

Weird, I've always just attached messages to the email (Outlook 2k and XP) and when the other person gets the email, it auto appears within the body of the email.
