Have recently installed Linux 7.1
OS will not shut down properly
Code: Bad EIP value /etc/rc0.d/s01halt: line1: 1469 Segmentation fault halt -i -d -p
I have installed Linux because I WANT to learn it and at this point don't know to much about it. The above error occurs when I am done with a session and through the GUI choose HALT.
I appreciate any suggestions or advice anyone may have.
My hard drive is partioned and right now I am having to reboot and shut down through windows.
I understand at a minimum that something has become corrupt in that line, but I do not know how I can fix it.
Much thanks in advance!
