Why when I click on a .avi movie it opens up in (WMP) but only sound comes out and doesn't play the movie?

My WMP is fine on mine and so is my friends(fine on hers) but on my step dads it's not.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!

sounds like your missing some codecs. Is it a divx that your trying to play?

no problem. If you need some codecs let me know and I can shoot you a few that should take care of it. can't get to them right now, but in a few hours I can e-mail them to you if you want.

You are definately missing the codecs. If you need the divx codec, I've got it.
