Noob DSL setup question.

I need some advice on setting up my router for DSL. I signed up for SWBell DSL and should be connected by next Wednesday. I need help with the software setup. My DSL package came with two CDs. Disk one is for setting up the user PC.(Registry tweaks, file/print sharing etc...) Nothing I could not perform myself. The second CD is for creating my user account. The way it looks to me, I will have to run this CD on a PC to create my PPPoE account. Then I will need to run winipcfg to find the subnet and gateway information to enter into my router plus the user id and password. Is this going to work?
Also, once I input this information into the router, the device MAC address will change. Will this be a problem?
Any help/advice would be appreciated. :)

All right. I did some more research. It looks like I will have to set up my account without the router. Once I have the account set up, I will need to copy the login id and password into the routers' PPPoE settings. Plus, if needed, I will have to clone the MAC id from the PC in the router. Does this sound like it will work?

What router you using,ISP and OS?

for a routers setup. Setting a router with PPPoE DSL is pretty simple most of the time.
