here is my test this looks ok but i still get bad download times
Browser/OS = Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows 98)

TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402

MTU = 1500
MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

MSS = 1460
Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which is equal to MSS.

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920
RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits
Unscaled Receive Window = 64240
RWIN is a multiple of MSS
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

bandwidth * delay product:
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 20556.8 kbps (2569.6 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
Your RcvWindow limits you to: 8222.72 kbps (1027.84 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

Time to live left = 44 hops
TTL value is ok.

Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

IP type of service field (RFC1349)= 00000000

There is a strong possibility that you have the wrong tweak installed. You'll want to go to the Tweak Forum and have EvilAjax or Lobo take a look and help you out on the matter.
They will need to know how you connect, whether your a PPPoE, Enternet, WinPoET, etc, connection. Hope this helps. :)

my friend, are u getting confused between Kbytes per second and k bits per second???

remember with your 56 k modem... what were u download rates?? about 5 kb/s?? and your saying your adsl downloads at between 20 to 50 (ten times quicker)..... thats pretty good. In the uk broadband is about ten times quicker than the old 56 k modems,,,,,,

hello

Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 513920

nothing short of unnecessary, stick with a # like 64240.

also if you're dsl operates pppoe ip addressing you'll want to take into consideration 1492 is the standard.

if those tips dont help, it's probably your provider having issues /holding you back

Ping is latency, it is not data rate per second.

The lower the Ping the better.

As far as bits to bytes

kb = kbit = 1024bits
kB = kbyte = 8192bits

And if you are using PPPoE, then You applied the wrong patch
