Have you downloaded Wicked GL??

Is Wicked GL compatible with V5?? i think it was but try that...

I have a V3 and i use Wicked Gl to get about 70 Fps....... with a V5 you should be getting higher..... even without wicked Gl i got at least 25.

From my experience with the K6 series chips, a K6-III 450 was faster at most things than a K6-2 500. Is upgrading not an option for you? An Athlon 1.4 GHz can be had for little more than $100.

Usually the point of asking for help with Fps is so they dont have to upgrade :) From everyone who has posted wanting help none of them want to upgrade. :(

Welcome to my hell. The K6-2 processor is total ****.. I have almost the identical system (amd k6-2 533mhz, 384 ram, nvidia pci geforce 2 (64mb). I get a bad similar fps.. Upgrading the chip isn't an option.. the most he could upgrade to is 550, i think. I've decided im just going to get a new case/mobo/cpu/fan.. and load all the stuff in my ghey compaq in there.
