New box and problems with SIS Sandra 2001

I have 1 problem:
If I start SIS Sandra 2001 v....811 it hangs on the startupscreen!
I had the same problem with the Abit KT7-A months ago and I solved it but I forgot how I solved it...

Any advices?!

PS: Do I have the install the Miniport AGP and VIA 4in1 only ?! Where is the AMD761 Chipsetdriver ?!

for the KG7 it is not neccassary to install the 4n1's those are for VIA chipsets, all you need is to have SP2 for Win2k installed, as that as the IDE driver you need for the VIA 686b southbridge....

as for the rest just download the AMD AGP miniport or pak thing from AMD's site, that will install the AGP driver for your Northbridge, that's all the patching you need....

as for Sandra, I dunno, is that the latest version? Maybe try downloading it again or getting a newer version if there is one...

I hate it if I forget such things :(

Have you uninstalled it and tried reinstalling again? I don't recall any type fix that you mention. Anyway I had similar problem and found that uninsalling/rebooting/reinstalling fixed my problem.

Did you reboot after you installed it?
Did you install it over the already installed Sandra?

Listen to what BMED said...

Other than that...you might want to try SiSoft's official site and ask someone there...they know their application better than anyone else does... ;)

SISoft Sandra2001 ver. 8.11 works fine now!!!
I installed HPT370 1.2.0612 software for win2k and Bios 5E and now I can bench my stuff:
