I've been trying to figure this out all day:confused:
What do you mean start it, if you have computer name in it and workgroup: @home it's done:)
Use the Internet Wizard to help you out. choose lan, and get the routers/Nic cards in before you do that.:)

LOBO, where do I put this info?
I'm still on dialup til this matter is resolved.
I'm on XP since last March so I forget but I believe in control panel, network settings, identification:)
Alittle help before he hears that sound, you have mail
Your not talking about the @Home icon on desktop are you:) :)
You use IE not @home, forget @Home :)
What you will need to do is right click on "my network places"
(if thats what they call network neighbohood in XP)
then right click on "local area connection"
From there highlight TCP/IP and select properties.
(If you don't have TCP/IP installed go ahead and add the protocol)
from there you put the computer name @home assigned you
like C453667-a and make the workgroup name @home.
Close the window restart and click on IE and go into TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS then go to the connections tab and
go to LAN SETTINGS make sure you remove any Proxy settings.
reboot and open your browser if a web page comes up your in business.
Hope that helps.

ok is this resolved?
when the @home guy came to hook mine up I had a baseball bat by my computer, I told him if he put any software on my system I would play tee-ball with his head.
Seemed to work pretty well...............
all you gotta do is set up the network side of it
since @home just adds you to their network you put in a computer name and the workgroup and boom you are goin
I like to not use the PROXY, too damn slow for me
so keep askin and you will keep learning-
