Side effects from Nic Buffer tweak?

I tried the nic buffer tweak for windowsXP pro,After I rebooted xp wouldnt load,froze on startup..Was the tweak the problem or what.Any ideas?

No NIC Buffer tweak would not cause that, warez XP would:)

If you are using a CD key that is the same with the Computers from work, and the version is not OEM, then I suggest you buy a copy of XP on your own and install that.:)
