From my memory... the linksys router can have dynamic ip addresses. Mind me asking why you want dynamic ips?

Almost any router will support dynamic IPs from ISPs. I have a D-Link and it works just fine. So too will the Linksys, SMC, Netgear, etc.
Just so you know, this is how it will work:
You'll plug your cable modem into the WAN port on the router. The router will then obtain the dynamic IP from Cox. The router will in turn supply each computer with its own internal IP, but these IPs will never be seen by Cox or the internet. All internet traffic goes through the router, and the router is the only thing anyone outside of your LAN will see.
