they do help from hackers, dont know how affective ly, but i dont use them. I dont have neonline enemies and i dont have much on this comp of mine... Its not that good of a comp, and i need all the CPU power i need, w/o a firewall usung some

I just started my cable service this week and have ZA and NAV installed. I left the alert option open so it would pop up each time I get pinged or hit.

I also went to GRC.com and ran their program shields up. And DSL reports.com's security check also.

You can never be totaly safe but I feel about as good as I would expect. (safe that is)
