Windows XP Hitting Store Shelves

Buy Windows XP once it comes out in October, or wait until they better it?

Well, using it now, I can tell ya I notice no real problems. The OS is stable, fast, compatible with nearly any program I've thrown at it. I'd get it. Then just use WindowsUpdate like you would any other Windows OS, for any updates.

So once it's out, it won't be buggy or anything? like windows 98 where there was a second edition. I talk to my friends and they say if they were going to buy it they would wait til next year before getting it so microsoft can make it better

I personally feel its good to wait and give it a little time out in the general population before buying. That goes for just about anything computer related.
