I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the problem I have.
I like to put my computer on standby when I leave it for an extended period of time. When I return, I need only to move the mouse to re-activate everything.
Most applications work fine after re-activating the computer from standby. However, I cannot download email into Outlook Express. It tries to download, but times out with the following error message:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'Email @ Yahoo', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
If I re-boot the computer everything works fine again. This situation only happens when I use the standby function.
Why does this happen, and is there a fix?
Thanks,
Flywhiz
