My first guess, before opening my eyes completely, would be Office XP. Especially if you are a student and considering the purchase of it. Maybe someone can tell me why I am wrong.

I was thinking of US students who qualify for the special deal - around $200 for Office XP Pro.

XP is 2000 with some purty new graphics... just go for 2000, it should be cheaper than xp right now

Stick with Office 2000, Office XP has all that activation BS and dont let me get started on Outlook XP!!!

Here is the link I was looking for but couldn't find - it brings down the price for Office XP STANDARD for certain US students to $149.

Other than web integration and that annoying paperclip, there is little difference between Office 95 and OfficeXP.

Oh yeah, Outlook in 97. And IMHO, Outlook is a pain in the a$$.

Look for 2000 on ebay or even 97 and save yourself a ton of money.
