Spock would say it's facinating,
I have Windows 2000 Advance server as my "gateway" to the internet thru my ADSL modem. If I take NETBUEI off the clents computers runnng Windows 98 second edition they haul
balls thru the Windows 2000 server running ICS, but when NETBUEI is enabled they slow down wicked! I need NETBUEI so I can connect to my happy "Dos Peer Servers" that I have on my network at home here.
Thanks for any input.

Unbind Client from Microsoft, and File and Print services...from TCP/IP...that way you're only loading NetBEUI for networking, instead of NetBEUI and TCP/IP. You'll be loading TCP/IP only for internet access.
