Is Max Payne a good game? I just saw some screen shots and it looks like it r0x0rs. Looks can be deceiving though... ;)

it is a very cool game.... but be warned you will become seriously addicted....... because of the addiction you'll finish the game in 3 days (just like I did) and then the game stops being fun

And if you have to ask if Max Payne is good or not by now, maybe you shouldn't be gaming to begin with. :p:rotfl:

The game requiremets are at least a p3 500mgz...For best performance the game says a 1000mgz with 256 ram, but my friend tried it on his p3 450 and said it ran pretty good

I loved the game, but you gotta have a beefy GPU, I have a PIII 933mhz with 256MB Ram, but my graphics card is a TNT2 m64 32MB. When I play, it freezes up a lot, it doesn't crash, it's the same feeling as lagging while playing an online game. I'll jump out to shoot someone and it will lock up for a split second, this disrupts my little matrix moment I had and then unfreezes when I'm not ready, so I die :( I only played it until I had that last little shooting battle with the wuss guy, can't remember his name, but he had a high pitched voice. And now I've reformatted my HD and Max Payne isn't on here anymore, I kept my save game points, so maybe I'll get around to finishing it.
Overall it's a wonderful game, brilliant game play, and awesome story line. But I did not, however, think that it was worth the 49.95 I paid for it. Way too high for a computer game, and to really get the full effect, you have to have a high-end system. I still recommend it though.

Ran great on my rig....pretty cool graphics, but grew old on me fast. All those "take 5" commentaries got to be annoying.
