I just tried to go to my add/remove programs page to delete a program that I just put on there (Flash 5) and now NOTHING is showing up in that box. It is like there are NO programs on my computer according to that. How can I get those back??
Please help!!!

I have rebooted several times and it NEVER comes back up. Can someone please help??
Is there a way I can roll back my computer to maybe before??
I am going to move this to the Software Forum where you may get more help.

Mouse
scanreg /restore from Start|Run box. Pick a date before the problem occurred when the window appears.
Flash 5 shoulod have a shortcut to it's uninstall program in the programs menu. If not there, then it will be in c\programs files\Flash or c\program files\macromedia\flash
Just execute the uninstall app & it wil do it's stuff.

i rolled it back about a week and it works now. woohoo!!
Thanks....
Try other dated files closer to today till the problem appears again, then go back to the last one tried that worked.
That way your registry will be as up to date as possible.
Glad it worked :)

Actually, I had a registry that was dated yesterday, the day before, and then one that was like a week before that. I thought it was weird that there was a whole week between those.
What causes those to be updated/saved so that they can be rolled back?? Thanks for all your help!

I believe that would be ScanRegistry
If u go to Start- Run then type msconfig then click the startup tab u will find it there
usually it saves the registry for the last five days but I think u can change that to as many as u want(up to 99)
