Has anybody found a way to work with .cue/.bin files since CDRWIN refuses to play nice with Windows XP?

I know that nero works great with winXP and will burn bin files.

Well, I have the previous version of Nero, not 5.5, and can't remember it having .bin support. I went to www.ahead.de and couldn't find any mention of it supporting that format. When I get home I shall give it a shot and see what I can do. I wrote the makers of CDRWIN an email and await their response about XP support.

Well, I tried Nero. I clicked on File, chose 'Burn Image', selected all file types, found the .cue file, and chose it. Nero reported some type of problem with the file. Having never used these 2 file types, I wasn't sure what the deal was. I tried with the .bin, and it popped up a window to set the format? Or Track size? Something like that. It seemed to run fine, but when it finished, the computer basically says there's nothing on the cd, but when I took it out and looked at it, it had been clearly burned to. Oh well..
Dude, CDRwin 4.0 works fine w/ XP, so does nero :)
Also you could try Fireburner, as it does bin/cue also.. cept u gotta buy yet another prog :D

CDRWIN 4.0 is out only in Beta, right? I'll have to give that a try. And Nero works fine, but it's probably the .cue file that was corrupted. I'll keep an eye out for Fireburner as well. Thanks for the help.

On the matter of CDRWIN and Windows XP, check out this link. I read it on the message board for www.fireburner.com.

Worth a shot as well. :)
