O.K. as many of you have probably seen before I'm having problems connecting to Cu-Seeme reflectors....could I just unhook my smc barricade router from computer.then plug in cable direct to ethernet plug and refresh IP....to access CU...It worked before hooking up the router...
Also....when I hook the router back up after using CU would I have to reconfigure it again...or just do a refresh.....
Any help is very much appreciated

don't quite understand but if your router has DHCP built in.
you could just hook the cable modem directly to your comp that should work without having to change any settings

Just set your computer as the DMZ host, that should take care of it.

I have tried putting the router in dmz and it didn't work...not sure if I put incorrect IP in when I tried it though...

For some routers you need to disable DHCP on the LAN side (WAN side doesn't matter) in order to do port forwarding or to use DMZ. Depends on the vendor.
