as you can read from my signature, that i have a 633mhz,64mb ram,15.0gb harddrive,48max cd-rom. computer. i am working on tweaking its speed. mostly i would like to tweak the time it takes for it to bootup, it takes about 5-10 munites for the whole thing is ready to use. now i am very new to tweaking so i would like to have a program.i can't do BIOS or regedit. i have went through the startup tab in msconfig. all that really does is speedup the desktop loading, witch was kind of slow. what i would like to do is speedup the boot time. if anyone could provide some info that would be great. thanks for the help.

Go to Start, Run box, type msconfig, then click on normal startup, reboot:)

thanks for helping me out with my, computer boot loading problem. your fix worked real well, it starts up in about 5 munites or less now, it has the fastest startup then the rest of the computers in the house, thanks alot.
