This may help some: Right here (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/robin.d.h.walker/cmtips.html#ethernet) :) :) :)
I used to set mine to auto, auto sense, hardware default until it starting connecting at 100.0, so now it's 10baseT:) :) Half duplex

Is this for XP? I haven't messed with my NIC settings... I don't know how to reach my NIC settings! LOL
Does this show any speed improvement? Jeez, I haven't even allocated RAM to my NIC's IRQ.. LOL

Somehow I DO have RAM allocated to my NIC... hmm.. I guess it keeps the same Sysedit settings as Windows 98 does... Oh well... About them NIC settings.... ;)

Cool, what should I set mine to? It's at Auto-Sense right now. My choices are 10BaseT Full_Duplex, 10BaseT, 100BaseTX Full_Duplex, 100BaseTX... Which should I choose? :)
10BaseT:) , and yes system ini tweak is the same:)
No such luck, it is currently set at Auto Sense since there is no option for 10BaseT 1/2 duplex, only has 10BaseT full duplex and 10BaseT twisted pair. Should I leave it in Auto Sense ?
10BaseT twisted pair:) :)
Ok, Lobo, but is there any info on the other settings for the NIC ?
Go to web site of whoever made your NIC card or in your search engine you should find alot:)
