Cable and DSL mesh? Can it be?

My neighbour is an NT admin at cogeco and he meshed cable and dsl with 2 network cards and he smokes evyones ping in Quake 3 and dl's at 300 kbs Is this possable to do or do you think that hes just using preferd bandwidth (job perk)?

I have heard of it but thought is was a wish on the liter side of things. Can it be done.??

It is possible to increase download rates, but it will not change latency (pings).

Thanks guys thats what i was wondering (ping rate and posability)

I guess i can trust he has done it to a point but he must be under preferd bandwidth to have low pings

exactly. U can shotgun them. I have shotgun 2 56kmodems on 2 diff accounts using midpoint

Pings on cable can be very low anyway. To some game servers, I have 9ms pings - with a single modem.
