plz help problem with dsl\computer

when i sometimes download files from ftps its stuck to me(only to me all the others can download it)
i get crazy
what is the solution for this?

What FTP site are you trying to download this file from? You can also try placing a trace to this FTP site so we can see what could be wrong with the path your network takes to that FTP server. Run the trace like this:

C:\WINDOWS\TRACERT [name of FTP site] > c:\trace.txt

Copy and paste trace.txt in here, change the IP address of the first hop so no one knows what it is.

This problem deesn't happen on a specific ftp site,
It happens randomally to random files.

So this is not a problem with the ftp server.

Okay. So then post a couple of traces to a couple of sites. Do these traces like this:

C:\WINDOWS\TRACERT OMARNYC.COM > c:\trace1.txt
C:\WINDOWS\TRACERT PCMAGLABS.COM c:\trace2.txt
C:\WINDOWS\TRACERT CASHWARS.CO.UK c:\trace3.txt
C:\WINDOWS\TRACERT NETVISION.NET c:\trace4.txt

You should get good results to NETVISION.NET, it's an ISP located in Israel. Change the IP address on the first hop so no one knows your address.

The trace is fine, but this dooesn't solve the problem.

The point of having you post traces to other Internet hosts is so that I could help you determine whether the problem lies on your end, or your Internet provider's end. That often tells the tale that needs to be told when something needs to be looked into.

This is surly a problemn in my side or the ADSL provider (NOT the ISP since I tried with few different ISPS),

What else is that the ftp is fine since others can downlooad what I can't.
