I like to go around to the different Broadband forums and see if theres any new and good info for increasing speed, then I come across a post that wasnt called for. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,1468237;root=charter;mode=flat

Now I started on that web site when i got my broadband and I think if that was posted then Ii would have stayed away from this site because the poster is well known there. It's not a big deal I guess but users that they may not beable to help over there could try the forums here and possibly get help. Its not nice to put down another site no matter what even if your oppinion is correct.

Haha.. don't trust what people over at dslreports say... they are outdated while we continue to strive for excellence. Look at Speedcorp or download one of the CyberWizard's Patches. Do they have crappy Rwins? No. Buy a Deluxe edition if you get a chance, I will bet you 50 bucks the Rwin won't go down below 32120. Not easy to uninstall? Ha.. I believe there's an original patch too available here.

I agree, its unfair to say all that when there could be some newbie in need of some help but take a look at that post and just give up. Tweaks are tweaks, if u dont likeum from other sites, dont make it so other people wont at least want to try them.

I'm never going to understand the mindset over there! They have a great site and they shoot themselves in the head with stupid statements like that. Anytime someone comes here to bad mouth the site, I try to politely tell them that we don't go around bad mouthing them. There is no point to it. I'm getting just a tad tired of the "Holier then though" attitudes and snobbish remarks.

I can't think of any more dedicated people, when it comes to helping tweak your broadband connection, then the people of speedguide. Heck, it extends beyond simple tweaking. General Cable, Security, Networking, Gaming, Hardware and Software forums, all of them have very helpful and friendly advice!

All I can say is, Where do you get treated better and what actually gives you the better speeds?

It is so childish of them. They need to grow up and act like it!
