Anyone in this area experiencing connection speed problems with Shaw@home? I use to have the lancity modems and they just disabled that this weekend so they swapped mine with a terayon. And now my connection has gone from bad to worse...at peak times, my download speed goes down to around <40k/sec. max It drops to around 2k/sec once i start uploading something...ping times are around 500 ms minimum.
Just wondering if im the only one having this problem...So far i know one person in vancouver experiencing similar problems...I tried calling and so ive been on hold for almost an hour and still couldnt get through (sorta makes me wonder how many people call in for tech support).
One thing though, the connection wasn't this bad with the old modem...at least i wasnt surfing at 56k dialup speed.
