Hi! Just curious if anyone has an opinion on this. Is there any reason to run the built-in winXP firewall if you're using tiny as well. The firewall uses a lot of other services that I wouldnt otherwise need.

thanks!

If you are using TPF then you REALLY don't need the embedded firewall that comes with XP.
It is designed for users who have NO firewall and it is the rudimentary to say the least. TPF can be configured to be tight and IMHO is much better...... unless you get WINPROXY on a separate machine.
If you have a router (for sharing one TCP/IP address) I would still suggest that you use TPF to stop outgoing programs from calling home, as the router only stops INCOMING.
Just my two cents worth.
PEACE!!!!!
