patch update for IE5.5

Running IE5.5
Trying to install service patch 2 for this nimda virus. I go to install it claims I first must have service patch 1 installed.

I then tried to install service patch 1 and it keeps saying I dont need this installed .

Any input??

have you tried bigfix?

www.bigfix.com

it has alot of M-S patches and is a good tool for any pc, also free.
