Tiny question...

startinfoshowswitch: setthreaddesktop error: 170 desktop couldnt be set back

Sounds Like it conflicting with something else your running or it needs to be deleted and reinstall. Give it a try reinstalling it and see if that helps. If not you will have to try and figure out which program it is conflicting with by turning one off at a time. Good Luck. I hope you figure it out. Its a great firewall.;)

Thanks, Glad to be back, Been busy for a while!;) I converted due to the last sysgate update was nothing but trash. Plus I like tiny newest release. Dose most on default. A lot better then before. But I still will not use zonealarm It just dose not like my provider. Will not let my Ip release or renew its lease.Plus it was the only last resort I had to good free one. But as I said I like it better now then I did before.:D ;) ;)

I'm really begining to like tiny. It makes me wonder why I ever used zaPro to begin with! It's secure enough now that I cought hotline calling home while I was using it! After using it for a ocuple of weeks, I believe if it wasnt free I'd actually be willing to pay for it.

Using Tiny's WinRoute Pro here and that can be configured like Tiny. No popups= happier me.

It use to work great, but sense they have tried to improve it. It is not worth a cent. I tried it about a month ago. It kept loseing it settings. I was useing tiny before. But thought I would give it another try sense they upgraded it again. I end up going back to tiny. No I don't want to see the old emails Ha! Ha!:D I still have the originale version of it. Mt son use it. He does not like tiny. I like it now because they did a wonderfull job on there updateing. Do They charge you for the winroute tiny pro. I use tiny and get no pop ups either. Plus what is the differance. I never looked into that version. I like trying different ones every once in a great well to see how they work. You can email me if you want!;)

WinRoute Pro = Software router including Tiny Firewall
My son returned home and promptly set up a network of 3 stations at home. My P2, his monster and my wife's laptop. Great so far.
I was going to get the old 486 from my daughter and set it up as a firewall but the kids have too much fun with it to do that.
