Hi I just reinstalled ZA and wanted to know a little bit about the settings. Should I block internet servers and local servers? Also what should I put the sercurity setting on both? Should I have them both at high? I have a cable modem. What is the best settings for that? Thanks a million

Well it depends on how you use your pc bro...
i mean if your a chatter and use paltalk , icq , m.s.n messanger and so forth...you will have to have your settings set to -LOW Security...
Im not quite sure if you can go to the programs tab and click on allow server and have the Security Settings set on -High-...you might whanto give that a shot because that will be more secure..
However if you are just a common surfer looking at web sights and posting on a few boards now and then...leave your security settings on -High-
Now you asked if you should block internet servers and local servers...(NO)...
tHATS WHAT YOUR COMPUTER NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO SRF ON THE WEB...dont know about the loca servers though if your not using (L.A.N)...then im sure you would whanto block it.

I have dsl and have all the server settings set up to ask for permission.
I hope that helps.

Have everything at the HIGHEST level of security. Then, whenever a program asks to have permission, either grant it or not. Simple, and safe.
