I have an Abit VT6X4
PIII 800EB Slot one running@800
256 MB PC-133 one module RAM crucial
Jaton Corporation GeForce2 MX400 64MB AGP 4X
2 Hard drive western digital one new and one old
Sound Card I think sound blaster
2 NIC cards one Intel and the other is SMC
250 zip drive and Sony CD_Rw
Sony digitizing card
Win ME
Every time I test the direct draw for example I got blue screen error has windows in the middle then an error has occurred to continue please press….etc
Then at the bottom I have file name: VMM (01) 0000 DC99 error: 06 0028 : C000EC99
I can’t watch movies as well as digitizing using movie maker and my minidv camera computer works fine and fast but when it comes to movies and digitizing it start to freeze or some errors like windows media player caused ..kernel 32 office freeze once for a while …I been having this even after I upgraded some of the components like better CPU-VIDEO CARD-RAM same result

How can i uninstall that Web Patch I got off this site?

Where did you get this web patch? If from windows update. You maybe able to go back to windows update under prouducts. Then click on updates already installed. Some updates have a place listed under them for uninstalling there updates. Good luck it may be worth the try.:)

Ah paydirt microsoft is says it has something to do with a via chipset, if you have a viachipset and aren't running the 4.32 version of the chipset drivers install them. Perhaps get the lastest nvidia drivers for you video card and if all that doesn't work disable direct draw.

Thanks that is the nearest answer however I know I have VIA Apollo Pro Chipset but I can't find what I need from that site to fix it I found a guy has the same problem http://forums.viaarena.com/messageview.cfm?catid=12&threadid=504 I have I registered to the form never got the password I been having this problem for a while I hope you guy can give me one more help

This is an old fix and I am pretty it wont fix your problem. Heck, i'm not even sure if this is an issue in winME; but a friend of mine solved simular problems in win98se with it.

under 386enh add the following line:
minSPS=12
