Wonder If Anyone Can Help...

I Just Recently Bought A New Computer about 6 weeks ago. It Has a 56k Modem which at the time i was dissapointed about and wanted better. When I First Connected To The Internet it was as quick as i had ever seen. it was like this for about a week, but since then it has been really slow, i also sometimes experience problems connecting to the internet. Can Anyone Help Me At All?

I'm not too familiar with DialUp, but my understanding is that sometimes you can get "hooked up" on a slower line. Point the curser to the small computer icon on the bottom right corner and see how fast the connection is, and then compare it to the connection that your DialUp ISP promises. If it's way slower, then you should contact your ISP.

You can also try disconnect and reconnect and see if you'll get on a faster line. Or, try to connect during a non-peak period.

I Looked Up About what you said, and both connections are the same, i have tried connecting at different periods in the day, even giving my computer a rest for a few hours, The Connection Is Still slow. Is There Anything I Can Do To Make It Quicker or anything i could download?
