American Online & ICQ Taking Along Time To Connect Please Help!

My Aol and ICQ are taking alot of time to login this just started happening today I dont know if its because of the extra RAM that I installed or what can someone help who have had this problem btw im on cable connection using AOL 5.0 and ICQ Build 3281!Thanks

Are you sure the RAM is installed right, RIGHT click on My Computer and select properties, should tell you how much RAM is installed also the highest amount goes in slot 1 on down:)
